@TexWisGirl
Unfortunately, I do not know what kind of bird this is. I do know it's not a cockatiel, since cockatiels have hooked, notched beaks. I have some as pets! :-)

I'm not sure but it looks like it may be a Jay from down under.

Most interesting, especially with that little dab of blue beneath the back of the crest! With a beak like that, it would seem to be a seed eater. Was this in the wild, Lisa?

Sall's Country Life said...

So pretty with that background, the way you've processed it, it looks like a cloth background.

Seriously lady your images get better and better - my mind boggles thinking about where you're taking us to.

I particularly love this as the background makes me think of a beautifully painted Chinese screen.

Happy day you gorgeous Gifter!

Ohh, this little one is a very precious one. Beautiful bird with a touch of wonderful light blue.

Dear Lisa, you can take pictures of birds in a such way that I feel tenderness toward them. This little one is so fragile and unprotected with huge eyes watching and looking at something.

Recently I saw a beautiful hawk and I even didn't get out of car to take picture of him. I knew before I will approach him, he will be gone. It takes a lot of patience to take a picture like you did, Lisa.

Splendid and unique picture of this precious bird.

I wish you nice and happy evening, my dear Lisa.
