Beautiful photo. The colour was great to this photo. I see it is frost in the foreground and it provided an exciting look. I always think about those who have lived there and how they felt when I take pictures of old houses. Great job! Hug from Hilda
Lisa - what gorgeous tones! There is so much texture here to enjoy - the barn, the grasses, the trees. All combining to give a real feel of beautiful desolation.
What a charming old barn, full of character! Your masterful processing enhances the beauty of the weathered wood, the dried grasses and the bare trees in the background.
This is a fantastic image for "charm" in a barn. I love the tones you obtained in your processing. So loney it sits there in the field. Great captured my friend.
Hi Lisa, You are really going to town with your B&W's and in this case, sepia type, images. Wonderful! Although I do love color, without it, form and texture have the chance to take center stage. There they get to sing and dance and my, what a show! xo ~ Anna
When I see a photo like this I always wonder what the story is. That building has a story. That building knows people. Do you ever do that through your lens, wonder about the story?
Oh, Lisa, this is stunning! Such a charming barn! :) And I love the vintage tones. I am quite envious coz in the US you have those fascinating huge barns. I wish we had them here too. I am having a look at your older post, you have so many terrific images. Glad I have found your site! Have a happy weekend.
I am like the saying..."Help me, Phonda, I can’t get up.” BUT, instead it is...”Help me, somebody....I am stuck on Lisa’s blog and I cannot leave!” It has been a good day in my suspension room...no bad kids so no one to teach...I am on my computer with my iPhone as my hot spot and I am a happy camper. This barn is so unusual, and your processing of the image is wonderful. It is small and so sweet and vintage looking. Just the perfect size for me to add electricity to, a wood stove, and then move my art and sewing things out there. I would be in heaven. Hugs, genie

Dear Lisa, I love this barn. Recently I found a barn and I took a few pictures of it and all of them went to trash.
I don't have luck with barns. I admirer you photograph so much. It seems that this barn was willing to tell you its stories.
