Last one to leave?
I remember the pain.
Mixed feelings anyway.
Enjoy the day with your camera:
Look forward to seeing leaves in your soft focus.

I have been told repeatedly that Apple has some amazing software. My hubby has 2 ipads which I have not dabbled with. My kids enjoy them.

Good that you are able to communicate easily with your son. Technology is wonderful.

Will you be sharing more of the stuff you shared last week? I really like that style.

What a lovely shot. It is so awful when they go away, Harry goes back to boarding school this afternoon and Alice goes back to Uni at the end of the month, it seems so quiet without them. I will look at that app it sounds great!

I'm way behind on technology, it seems. My laptop is 5 years old, my internet dongle the same -- I use a Blackberry Tour and no iPhone or iPad or i-anything is in the budget. But that's okay -- I'll live vicariously through you, Lisa. ;)

Lovely pink dreamy photo today. Love starting out my day viewing one of your macro shots.

Beautiful flower and nice blur! My friend would carry asingle lens reflex camera, interchangeable lenses,a iPad,a iphone and a GPS device when hiking and trekking.
He would say it is very convinient. I want buy a iPad, but it is very difficult to carry. BTW, Ifeel easy that your son will stay in Boston satisfactory.

Lisa it's nice to hear from you again. And I am glad that everything is ok.

I can understand how you feel not using your camera for a week. Sometimes if I don't use camera for a few days I feel that my life is incomplete.

This is a beautiful and very artistic image. Colors and light are incredible. And a fantastic composition. Very delicate, wonderfully gentle and soft image. I love it very, very much.

Have a nice and creative week, dear Lisa.

Glad to hear your son has settled in - thank goodness for technology to help keep us connected to our kiddos ( and loved ones ). My time is coming sooner than I'd like. I'm going to cherish this, her 12th grade year while she's still here at home!

Have a beautiful week!

Glad your trip to Boston was successful. My best is too struggling with her only heading off to college this fall. He's thriving already, what more could a mom want? I know, hugs. Hope your heart mends soon.
Beautiful soft image. Always amazed at what you do.
Should there be enough dollars to re-roof house, get new garage door, and purchase new car...with the left over dollars I might get one of those cool sounding ipads with that ap. Meanwhile have laptop will travel. :)

August was the silent period, but I think I worked harder than ever! Glad your trip to Boston was okay and that you are able to maintain the "face time" with your son. (When our youngest went to college in 2000, we used Instant Messaging, which was a wonderful connection for his first two years.) Love your dreamy pink image, Lisa!

Hi Lisa, The delicate pink bloom is beautiful. I often made quick visits to Boston on business, but never really got to visit the city. One day I hope to. From what I have seen, it is a wonderful city, full of history. I am sure your son will enjoy his time there.

I remember when video chat was something in the FAAAAR distance for which I never dreamed I'd live to see! LoL! =)

Your image is fantastic, of course, & I've also noticed how summer is fading rather quickly all of a sudden... my mom & I rode around the farm the other day & suddenly noticed the changing colors of the leaves. I LOVE THE WEATHER we're having here, too... it's been in the low 80's during the day, but only for a few hours, then in the 60's at night... that's IDEAL for me =)))

Have a great week, Lisa
