Congratulations, Anna.

Congratulations, Lisa.

My wish; World Peace! I am reminded of one of Sandra Bullock's movie where all the beauty contestants answered 'World Peace' when they were asked what they wished for. :)

Lisa - what a lovely image - there is something about it that reminds me of fairies.

My wish - I would treat myself to one or more of the photography books that I have accumulated on my Amazon "Wish List".

Thanks for the opportunity to be fairy-visited!

This beautiful photo is one of my favourites so far!
I was surprised by the angle you chose, I really like it!

Oh you are so deserving of a visit from the Fairy Hobmother! Personally, I would love to buy a new DSLR and any amount would go that way! When I consider the perspective of your wonderful image, all I can think of is where you had to be to achieve that. It makes me hurt just a little. ;-)
You've inspired me to try the (wordless) August Break. Have a wonderful weekend.

Exquisitely beautiful image. I love the softness and perspective. Wonderful and imaginative, Lisa.
My wish.. Something for my wonderful hubby, something I could surprise him with, something that makes him smile.

Lovely shot, love the way the purple petals fly out from the centre.

Hmm - I think I would take my friends out for coffee.

What a stunning picture. My daughter's birthday is coming up. An Amazon gift card would be a great gift for her.

Congrats on your win!! Who doesn't like to win something? I love the POV of this image and it feels like it has a sense of Fairy about it. Maybe you were channeling fairy to get your kiddos a little "summin', summin'".
What would I use $50 Amazon card on? I'm eyeing a zoom lens that runs about $550-I think I'd put it toward that.
I give you good wishes toward your silent August. I'll blab double-enough for both of us.

Lucky, lucky me :) Thank you again!
So fun to see your gorgeous clematis (I assume) capture! I shot many angles from my purple ones, but didn't come up with framing quite like this. Lovely focus, too - reminds me of the vitality and fleetingness of summer.
So looking forward to Susannah's Unraveling course!

Nice, fine colored picture.
I wish...my hair is too long and gray, so I spent the Amazon gift on me... I think.

that is a shot i could blow up full size for my bathroom wall. lovely colors Lisa. I have to say I have been thinking ALOT about the new fujifilm instax camera to carry around for more retro shots and photowork. I love the retro stuff you know! See you Monday morning early Lisa for TCE.

WOW! This is goreous Lisa! The colour and light is just wonderful. If you could give the gift to a good cause, then I would give it to cancer research!

What gorgeous color in your photo! My food processor was lost during a recent move. If I should win a $50 gift I would use it towards the purchase of another food processor.

lisa said...

Thank you so much everyone, and Happy Sunday to you!!

@ Minor - I will be doing The August Break. I will simply be posting photographs, but no words for the month of August. The Creative Exchange will continue as usual during the month.

Beautiful macro!

My wish? An Amazon Kindle!

That is an amazing and beautiful macro! It just seems to burst with energy. I am also wondering if I can post daily in August without commentary. I'm going to try it, if it doesn't feel right, I'll add words. No rules, right?

Woof Lisa!
I think I'm too early to link my weekly post.
But since the fairy is visiting you please tell her to buy a sack of kibbles to feed the stray animals missing a home!

I decided to join in on the august break too! i'll be stopping by everyday !!

I missed commenting on this image last week, so I'm taking this opportunity to say I think it has real "lift" and I love it. another way of putting it - it SOARS! have a great week Lisa.

I'm probably too late, but if I were to be visited, I'd pay it forward and use it for Peanut and Army Guy's upcoming September birthdays. He's halfway through an officer training course on his way to flight school and could really use a morale boost. And Peanut is turning 3 years old, and loves online shopping with her mama! Oh yes, they learn young. ;-)

Congrats Lisa! It's fun to win now and then!

I was thinking like "One"...and I wish for world peace! But maybe a book to help me learn LR3, w/o sounding selfish!

Sara said...

This is just beautiful Lisa! Congratulations, I couldn't think of anyone more deserving for a fairy visit!

Barbara said...

Beautiful photo! Congratulations and is it too late to make my wish? I will anyway - I'd use it for a new lens, of course!
