Cracking shot Lisa! So love the texture you have used. I was hoping to shoot this very same flower over the weekend but the rain and cold weather ruined the petals, just got to wait for some new buds to open now we have summer back at last! Have a great day!!

you had a lot to say today. Maybe because you soon will go silent. :) Sounds like a great idéa to me.

I like the simplicity of this flower. We have it too and I love it. You have done a great work too. Not too much, only to enhance a bit. :)

I´ll come back to check the story you talk about.

Look at what's going on inside that perfect flower . . . WOW.

Interesting idea . . . posting photos with no words, no comment, no descriptions, no thoughts. Sounds like a noble idea, refreshing. Not sure I'd be good at that. Ha.

August is closing in on us . . .
Yikes.

Jane said...

Lovely photo Lisa! I had not heard of August break but will look into it - although no words would be a real challenge for me :-)

Hi Lisa!
What an interesting idea wordless posts for August! I doubt if I can participate though.

I love your flower shot, as always. How inspiring to see nature captured that way.

And thank you for thinking of us. We are safe and hope that rare tornado will not visit us again!

I will try to post this week but if I can't make it, I'll do one next week ;-)

Have a great week!

congrats on one year of blogging. I'm a bit new to the Exchange, but it's fast become one of my favorite creative expression outlets. and I'm going to take this opportunity to thank you for not only hosting, but for being so gracious and supportive in your visits/remarks. each week you manage to make the time to visit me and gift me (and each participant) with your support and encouragement and that truly does impact my heart in the loveliest of ways. I hope you have a fun-filled week Lisa.

Congrats on your first anniversary, Lisa! What a wonderful site you've created for all of us! It's already time for August Break? I'm definitely doing it again this year...isn't that how we met? Lovely flower!

Ohh I like the idea of the August break from words, but I don't know if I can keep quiet for a whole month. I'm so moody and seem to have moments of lots to say and moments of nothing to say :)

Thanks for the kind comment today and I look forward to getting to know you better ~ congrats on one year, you look like you've been at it for much more!

Lisa your image is so stunning. I love purple.
I would love to do the Aug. but I will be away for a week or more. When I cant find the words or my mojo wow it hurts.
Have a wonderful day.

Hey Lisa-
Put me down in the random drawing with a lucky number....Unraveling #1 sounds like a fantastic course.
While an August Break....I don't know if I can shut up like that. Maybe next year, but I'll think about. I've got one of those minds that's constantly wondering about things-trouble for sure.
Love your purple bloom. You truly create the most beautiful flower EVAH! (If you're going to be around Boston with your son, ya gottah learn a little New England).
I AM going to link up to CE this week...later.
Have a great day.

August break sounds good to me, have to check that out ( I'm not so good with words so it would be just great:)
I'm just back home from Copenhagen and little worn out, it was so beautiful out there. It is only 1 hour 30 minutes fly from here so have go back once a year at least if we just have money (it is very very expensive there). If you ever come to Europe you must go Denmark you would love it.

No Creative exchange for me this week, but I'm back to a bit of blogging and the August break seems the perfect way to begin again. And a spot in Susannah's course might also be just the thing I need amongst the hustle and bustle of learning to be a mum.
